We provide a host of medical service for our patients. Our office offers a full laboratory including blood tests and urinary analysis. We provide annual physicals, school, sports and work physicals. We offer support for DOT auto injuries and worker’s comp cases. Our doctors perform minor surgeries in our offices, such as cyst removal, mole removal, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
Nan Jiang, MD finished her residency program in 2003 and she has been in practice for more than 10 years. Dr. Nan Jiang is a board certified family practice doctor and fellowship trained in geriatrics. As the founder of our three clinics she believes that each patient is unique and the treatment approach is different for each individual. Dr. Jiang takes pride in her bedside manner and takes the time to listen to patient’s needs. Her medical interests are preventive care, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, woman’s health, heart disease, asthma and minor surgeries. Dr. Jiang is nationally recognized for quality diabetes care as well as a premium physician of Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Health Care insurance companies. Dr. Jiang’s affiliated hospitals are Memorial Hermann Hospital, West Houston Medical Center and Pearland Medical Center.
Xin Wang, MD is the co-founder of our three clinics. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has more than 10 years clinical experience and musculoskeletal ultrasound experience. His clinic interests include interventional pain management, sports medicine, work/auto injuries, ultrasound guided neck/back/joint injections, nerve block, EMG/Nerve conduction study and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Jerryce Hudson, MD is a board certified family practice physician. She received her medical degree at Howard University college of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Hudson brings with her wealth of knowledge and experience as well as a love of medicine to all her patients. She cares, she listens and she strives to give her patients the best and most efficient care. Dr. Hudson enjoys fitness, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Vi Nguyen, MD is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. Dr. Nguyen received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine after completing her residency at Scott and White Memorial Hospital Family Medicine. Dr. Nguyen enjoys being a primary care physician, taking care of a range of patients from infants to the elderly. She provides a range of services such as DOT physicals, preventative care, managing chronic conditions such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression and anxiety. Dr. Nguyen highly believe in educating patients about their conditions and helping them take charge of their health. Outside of her busy work schedule she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, fishing, cooking and supporting mission trips.
Min Liang, MD is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician. Dr. Liang graduated from Fujian Medical University with a master’s degree in endocrinology and a doctor’s degree in hematology. She went to Baylor College of Medicine in US in 2000 for postdoctoral research. Besides, Dr. Liang is rich in clinical experience since she received the training on internal medicine in University of Texas Medical Galveston and was engaged in clinical work at the Diabetes America.
John Nguyen, M.D. is a board certified family physician. Dr. Nguyen received his medical degree from AUC School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Hackensack Meridian JFK Hospital Family Medicine. Dr. Nguyen is well versed in preventative medicine and managing many chronic conditions. He believes in connecting with his patients and building long lasting patient-doctor relationships. Outside of work Dr. Nguyen loves to travel, play tennis, and spending time with his family.
Melissa Zamora, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician. She received her medical degree from UT Health Houston McGovern Medical School and graduated from residency at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. She enjoys listening to her patients and working together to improve their health. She is comfortable treating acute and chronic conditions. Outside of work, she loves going to parks and trying great food at different restaurants with family and friends.
Nana Afia Mensa, MD. is a Family Medicine Physician. She went to medical school at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. She is passionate about connecting with patients, educating them, and helping them reach their goals. She enjoys managing acute and chronic conditions. In her free time, she likes to paint, watch basketball, read, and spend time with the family.
Mst Farhana Akther, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician who graduated from the American University of Antigua and Barbuda. She completed her residency in LSUHSC Lake Charles, Louisiana, a Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. With a commitment to both preventive and acute care, Dr. Akther diagnoses, treats, and manages a wide range of medical conditions, from common illnesses to chronic diseases. In addition to direct patient care, Dr. Akther is committed to educating patients about healthy lifestyle choices and preventive measures. Dr. Farhana Akther is a long-time Houstonian who always looks forward to building long term relationship with patients. Dr. Akther enjoys spending time with her friends and family in her free time.
Born and raised in McAllen, Texas where I enjoyed the South Texas weather and was able to have occasional trips to South Padre Island was how I spent most of my youth. Through high school and college, medicine was always a passion of mine. The science behind human anatomy and physiology spurred an interest that led me to pursuing medical education in college and medical school. I made my move to Galveston in 2015 where I did my medical school at UTMB and my rotations in primary care drew me towards internal medicine, where I also completed my training. Helping people achieve their long term goals and developing long lasting patient-doctor relationships with mutual respect, is something that continues drive my growth in medicine today.
Monique Edwards, MD is a board certified family medicine physician. She graduated from New York Medical College and completed residency with University of Houston/HCA Houston West Family Medicine Residency Program. She finds joy in connecting with patients and creating individualized approaches to reach health goals. Educating patients is a focal point of her care for both acute and chronic conditions. She has a wide range of experiences with patients from various cultures, backgrounds, and socioeconomic groups. Outside of working in the clinic, Dr. Edwards is a Captain in the US Army Reserve. In her free time, she enjoys music, traveling, playing with her dogs, and spending time with family.
LiHua Lai is a board certified physician assistant. She originally graduated from Harbin medical university in 1989. She went to Baylor college of medicine and graduated with a mater degree of physician assistant studies. Ms. Lai has many years of clinical experience including gastroenterology, nephrology, urgent care, infectious disease, oncology, and vascular surgery. Ms. Lai has excellent bedside manner and cares for patients well being.
